Camden Apothecary is located directly adjacent to the historic Bell Pharmacy, which was founded in 1931. The pharmacy (then named Bell Drug Company) dispensed cannabis until its sale was prohibited by the federal government in 1937. We are the only dispensary in the nation to have sold cannabis both before and after its prohibition…so, yeah—we’ve been at this for a while.

We like to think of ourselves almost like a “museum of cannabis”. Even if you don’t plan to shop, come check out our unique atmosphere and historic artifacts dating all the way back to the early 1900s.
